Wide Awake – Erwin McManus
This book is just like most of McManus’ overhyped on fluff and weak on substance. McManus is an immensely gifted storyteller and captivates readers in an amazing way. Yet whenever I finish one of his books I feel as if I have just eaten some cotton candy. There is just not much there! I would say if you are interested in this book, move on to get something by Piper, or MacArthur or Driscoll instead.
